Doesn't this gator look like he's just waiting to give someone a big hug?! I stamped him and the clouds on watercolor paper and colored them with Watercolor Wonder Crayons and an aqua brush. The images were then cut out and mounted to the card with pop dots for added dimension. I used a green Twinklette marker on the spots on the gator's back for some sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you're having a wonderful week!
I can't believe it's been almost a week since my last post. I guess I've been busy enjoying summer and neglecting my blog readers. Sorry!

For the flip flops, I turned the card on it's side and added three circles with flip flops.
Lastly I went with just a plain circluar image. For a little extra something I cut out the purple popsicle and mounted it with pop dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you're having a wonderful Monday!

I colored the stamp with my Watercolor Wonder Crayons, spritzed it with water and stamped it on watercolor paper. After distressing the edges of the image panel I sewed it to the designer paper mat. Just a nice simple card to showcase the beautiful flower. The Summertime Collection from Clear and Simple Stamps is now available! Hello Summer! Sun, fun and sand - this release is packed full of summertime cheer.

You can still receive $1 off the SOTM (Summer) until July 31. Enter discount code: DTBlog709 at checkout.
Now how about another card using the In Bloom set. For this card I stamped the blossoms then colored them with a Watercolor Wonder Crayon and stickles then cut them out. The leaf images were stamped with Olive Pastel Colorbox Chalk ink and the black outlines to make them look more like stems were added with a Copic multiliner.

Supplies (tennis darling card):
To make the faux brads I used a hole punch and punched out three dots of the My Mind's Eye paper then sponged the edges with Riding Hood Red ink. I mounted them to my card with pop dots and then applied a coat of Glossy accents to them to make them look more like brads.Supplies (tennis racket card):
Supplies (container):

(Supplies: Vanilla shipping tags, Colorbox Chalk Olive Pastel, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Copics, Ribbon, Button, Linen Thread, Stickles)
(Supplies: SU Vintage Violet, Groovy Guava, Choc Chip and Very Vanilla cardstocks; Timber Brown Stazon, Vintage Photo Distress Inks; Ribbon, Circle punches, Edge Distresser, Paper Piercer, Chalk, Aquabrush, Reinkers)

The base is SU soft sky with a mat of purely pomegranate and K & Company Wild Raspberry dp. Next I used the scallop label punch from SU to punch four pieces and then ran each one through my cuttlebug with a different embossing folder. I mounted the scalloped labels with pop dots for some dimension and then added a butterfly to each one. The butterflies were stamped with SU purely pomegranate, soft sky, marigold morning and positively pink and then cut out. The butterfly is from the set along with the sentiment. Before adding the sentiment I tied a bow around the card. The sentiment was stamped with purely pomegranate ink and punched out with a circle punch. I used my crop-o-dile to add an eyelet for threading the ribbon through to attach it to the bow on the card.

For the second card I used one of the new Bernard images from DigiStamp Boutique. When I saw this image I knew I had to make a card using the phrase "Do I hear cake?" because I remember a birthday card I received when I was young that had a drawing of Snoopy laying on his dog house with one ear up and those words and I thought this image would be a nice substitute.
I hope my cards put a smile on your face. Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you're having a wonderful week.

I just wanted to wish you all a safe and happy 4th of July and share another card using the Bravery Gent set from Clear and Simple Stamps. For this card I stamped the kraft card base with the sentiment using Antique linen distress ink to create the background. I sponged the edges of the card with Vintage photo distress ink. The blue layer is Stampin Up Buckaroo blue with stars stamped in matching ink. The edges of this piece were also sponged with Vintage photo distress ink. The ribbon is from May Arts and the red polka dot/solid is a two sided paper from Bo Bunny. The star in the center of the card has a brad and is mounted with a pop dot.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Happy 4th of July!
