Mother's Day Card

Sorry that I've been MIA the last couple of weeks. Between work and traveling on the weekends I haven't had much time for stamping and no time for blogging. Here is the card I made for my Mom for Mother's Day that I haven't shared with you yet.

Since my Mom is a quilter I pulled out my Janome Sew Mini and decided to quilt a piece of K&Co designer paper for her card. I used my Scor-Pal to emboss lines on the paper and then stitched all of the embossed lines. Next I stitched a mat of soft sky cardstock and matted it all on a base of cool caribbean. I used an old stampin' up sellabration set for the ever grateful sentiment and added a prima and button for the finishing touches. Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is beautiful and I love how you used the Scor-pal and then stitched over the lines, what a great tip!
I think I need to find one of these sewing machines!
